Squeezing Out the Best of Spring: Highlights from Harvest 4 Pink’s Ladies Lemonade Luncheon
On May 3rd, the Sublette County Fairgrounds Event Center was glowing with lemon-yellow joy as over 200 women gathered for an unforgettable afternoon at Harvest 4 Pink’s Ladies Lemonade Luncheon. Harvest 4 Pink became a partner of The Know Your Lemons: World Breast Alliance earlier this year. Together, we are expanding breast health education and awareness in rural Wyoming. Access to healthcare can be limited in Wyoming and so increasing early detection screening rates is essential. By leveraging the Know Your Lemons app and educational materials, Harvest 4 Pink is making self-exams more approachable and easy to understand. The Ladies Lemonade Luncheon was an event that proved this partnership is in motion and working.
With tables adorned in bright blooms and charcuterie delights, attendees were greeted with the warmth of community, the zing of fresh lemonade, and a mission rooted in education and early detection of breast cancer.
At the heart of the event was the “Know Your Lemons” breast health education class, presented by the ever-inspiring Rauli Perry, Lemonista and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. Her engaging presentation empowered guests with life-saving knowledge on self-exams, mammograms, and how to detect changes in their breast health. With humor, heart, and expert advice, Rauli reminded us all that knowing our lemons—our breasts—can truly save lives.

Until next year, keep checking those lemons. 🍋💛
